The Sanctuary on the Hill
The lodge under construction, side elevation, summer 2026

The build · in progress

It's not a concept. It's a construction site.

Ground was broken in March 2025. The lodge is standing, the activity center is nearly done, and the grounds are taking shape, all photographed this summer.

Already a gathering place

The community is already here.

Long before the doors open, this has been a gathering place. Volunteers clear trails and plant trees. Neighbors fish the lake. And Mission First shows up across the Tri-State: at the Mogadishu Mile memorial ruck, the 9/11 Climb to Remember, Veterans Day, and Military Appreciation nights with the Evansville Thunderbolts.

Help us finish it by 2027.

The lodge is standing. The activity center is nearly done. The last stretch is the hardest, and it's where you come in.
